Snow Station is the essence of how a small company was created by trying to provide a healthy vegan and dairy-free dessert alternative. No longer do Vegans and lactose intolerant individuals have to watch while others enjoy ice cream or frozen yogurt. Our use of a soy alternative, instead of dairy, makes us a very unique company.
Snow Station was founded in 2012. We have revolutionized the cold dessert industry by being able to provide a soy dessert alternative called shaved snow that is both rich in flavor and creamy in texture.
In the summer of 2011, the founders of Snow Station examined the cold dessert industry and realized that there were very few dairy-free and vegan-friendly options out there. Traditional Hawaiian shaved ice and Italian ice were some of the few dairy- free cold dessert options available. These options lacked a rich creamy texture. Many places were combining these dairy free options with traditional ice cream and frozen yogurt to achieve a desired creaminess to their product.
Snow Station founders realized there was a growing need for an alternative to ice cream and frozen yogurt. We searched to create a dairy-free cold dessert option that was also rich and creamy in texture.
Snow Station was born from the desire to find a healthier dessert option that everyone could enjoy. Both lactose intolerant individuals and those who have chosen a Vegan lifestyle can now enjoy a cold vegan and dairy-free alternative to traditional frozen yogurt and ice cream.
